Frequently asked questions and important information

We are happy to welcome you personally on the day of arrival, ideally between 15:00 and 18:00. Please let us know your arrival time in advance, and ring the RECEPTION bell on arrival.

Early arrival is possible only with prior confirmation.

SELF CHECK-IN: You can also check in independently using an access code, which we will send you after agreement.

On arrival, we will send you an online form for spa tax records and foreign police registration. Please complete it carefully for all guests, including children.

Address: Petřín 789/38, Vyhlídka district, Karlovy Vary.

We recommend arriving via Raisova Street (turn by the grocery store), then continue to Petřín Street. We do not recommend Kolmá Street, as it is very steep and in poorer condition.

On the day of arrival and departure, you may drive directly in front of the house without a spa-zone entry permit. We will then guide you to parking.

Parking directly in front of the house is not possible (residents only). City police may issue a fine there.

Parking is available in two places:

1. Rear street and courtyard (public unguarded parking), entrance from Raisova Street next to the JIP grocery store.

2. Private garage for rent, 250 CZK / night (reservation required in advance). Dimensions: length 5.30 m, width 2.80 m, height 2.00 m.

Breakfast is served from 8:30 to 10:00 on the ground floor. Please let us know approximately when you would like breakfast to be prepared.

If you have any preferences (e.g. meat-free, lactose-free), please let us know in advance.

For stays without breakfast, a kitchenette is available, or you can use cafes in the city center. There is also a grocery store near the house (daily 7:00-19:00).

Throughout the day, soft and hot drinks are available on the ground floor, including tea, capsule coffee, and chilled beverages. A kettle is also available.

We also offer a selection of local wines from South Moravia. Please record your consumption on the note in the cup, and we will add it to the final bill.

We offer free transfer from Karlovy Vary train station or airport.

We also offer transport by our minibus for up to 6 people around Karlovy Vary (price by agreement).

For city transport, we recommend the BOLT app.

Payment and settlement are made during your stay (unless agreed otherwise). Payment can be made in cash, by bank transfer, or by card.

Cash and bank transfer are accepted in EUR or CZK; card payments are accepted in CZK only.

Cash payment: 2% discount. Card payment: +2% surcharge (bank transaction fees).

BOOKING.COM: if no prepayment has been made, the full stay is paid to us during the stay.

Spa tax: 50 CZK / person / night according to the completed form.

WiFi is available throughout the house. Access details are in the main hallway, and you can also connect via QR code.

INFO: For your safety, the building entrance and the main ground-floor corridor are monitored by camera.

In some rooms, we offer internet TV with a full O2 channel package.

You can also sign in to your own apps (Netflix, Apple TV, and others). Please do not change monitor settings (language, configuration).

Traditional antenna TV is not available.

We use heat pumps for heating and hot water. Room temperature is controlled by radiators; bathrooms have underfloor heating and a heated towel rail.

Hot water availability is highest between 8:00-10:00 in the morning and 19:00-22:00 in the evening.

Please close windows when leaving. Plastic, glass, and paper can be placed in in-room baskets for sorting.

We recommend for example, Smíchovský pavilon, LaHospoda or Parlament Restaurant, Bechers Platz, Pizzeria Locale, the Indian restaurant Saffron or Beer Bar Escobar .

Smoking is prohibited inside the house. The smoking area is on the upper rooftop terrace on the 3rd floor, where ashtrays are provided.

If smoking is detected in a room, we charge a full deep-cleaning fee of 250 EUR.

The terrace is available to guests from 7:00 to 23:00. Children under 10 are allowed only with parental supervision.

Seat cushions and a sunshade are available; please return them after use and respect quiet hours.

You may use the kitchenette during the day for your own needs. It is fully equipped for basic use.

Thank you for leaving the kitchen tidy after use. Chilled food and drinks can be stored in the shared fridge in the common room.

We recommend visiting the Karlovy Vary thermal pool at Hotel Thermal Saunia. Outdoor pools are available at approximately 31 °C and 38 °C.

It is a very popular activity, especially during winter.
